Anime Expo – Merchandise

Anime Expo is the biggest anime convention in North America. With hundreds of thousands in attendance each year, Anime Expo brings together passionate communities to celebrate the cultures they love most. Because of such a passionate community, I was charged with scaling and improving the merch program I inherited when joining company.

In order to achieve optimal results, I spearheaded a partnership with an outside vendor, Blind, to help design and develop a new and fresh merchandise campaign for the 2017 expo. Leading the in-house creative AX team, we built a merchandise program that toppled all past revenues – with a record increase of 200% increase in overall sales – was built.
